In the Mood: For the Question Mark, Chapter 5, ALLOW ME TO RE INTRODUCE MYSELF

Excited to formally reintroduce my newest venture, this time, in a way that truly feels like me.

www.inthemoodarchives.com

A space where my eye for vintage, love of archival fashion, and background in styling all come together. It’s part mood board, part time capsule: a curated reflection of everything I’m drawn to and everything I’ve learned.

You now have access to some of the rarest and most coveted pieces from John Galliano’s era at Dior. And as a little bonus, since a few pieces sold via Instagram, I’ve added a mini selection of special Chanel bags for the relaunch, from me to you. <3

A playlist to set the mood

This has been the most fun and rewarding experience, and so daunting all at the same time… starting something brand new is never easy. I’m always here to keep it real and remind all the girls it is normal to make mistakes, and pivot a million times to find your way. I don’t have it all figured out, and even though it may appear that way… a lot of people don’t. It is part of being a creative; the twists, turns, ups, and downs is where all the magic lies.

Recently, I feel like I have been doing a million things all at the same time, and I am now finally scratching the surface of what is next with so much clarity.

As usual, it was one of those random late-night moments where a thought just hit me (because I can never not be a creative night owl). I was rewatching Gossip Girl for the 100th time, and of course, Blair Waldorf said something that stuck.

She was in the middle of her own whirlwind, unsure of her next move in fashion, and decided that she’d call herself a tastemaker. And it clicked, that word stuck with me. That is going to be my new word.

I am not a stylist, a vintage curator, or a writer… I am a tastemaker, and that means I am all of those things and more. I don’t have to choose one or the other or confine myself to a specific box. I will never abandon my love for styling I am just adding these new pieces to the puzzle to make it complete. Part of this next puzzle piece is In The Mood Archives

I have so much coming your way and I cannot wait to share.

Writing further about the process of being a creative, curating more vintage, many more mood boards, shopping edits, finding the chicest pieces on Zara, and talking about the confusion/process of it all. I think it’s important to show that social media can be a facade and we are really ALL just “faking it till we make it”… manifesting our dreams. The more you lean into the delusion the closer it gets to reality.

To touch on the creative process, here is the mood behind this first drop: Dior by John Galliano

Because I can't help but think of Carrie Bradshaw for this drop <3

Here’s a sneak peak of some of the pieces available for this drop

You can shop the rest of the archive collection here.

Here’s a mood board that is a sneak peak into the next mini drop, coming sooner than you think

I hear it's a Pucci girl summer ...

Xoxo
